Qoin is a not-for-profit foundation that is specialised in complementary currencies, also called community currencies. We have been working on the expansion of Complementary Currencies for over eighteen years. We are your partner in designing, developing, implementing new financial instruments, like rewarding and retention systems and complementary currencies. Our expertise in this field goes hand in hand with our experience in community building and behavioural change, environmental and climate solutions, innovation and economical development, Corporate Social Responsibility, and sustainable marketing.

Since 1998, we have helped a large number of public authorities, communities, NGOs, and entrepreneurs in fulfilling their ambitions. Qoin is based in Amsterdam, and our working area is Europe. Qoin is closely connected to the Social Trade Organisation, a leading authority on innovative complementary currency projects in Latin America and Europe.
